It's almost over so time to post!
I left you last as we were heading off to see the Miss America pageant. So much fun. Unfortunately, Miss Arizona didn't win, but we did get to watch Mario Lopez host. And no. He didn't take off his shirt. Bummer.
The guy in the velvet jacket would be my husband, middle is Shelby Marcuzzo (the wife of one of his partners and really good friends of ours) and on the right is Yancy. She's also a great friend of ours and organizer extraordinaire. Without her we wouldn't have all been there.
And these would be the doctors.
Then...our 16th wedding anniversary. This year, another ski trip to Sunrise with my brother, nephew, parents, dogs and our kids.
Then...it rained our our parade. Parada del Sol that is. Hanifa belongs to a group called the Scottsdale Charros. I think they are supposed to do something great for the community, but really it's just a group of a bunch of guys who get together, drink copious amounts of alcohol (you're welcome Jack Daniel's) and think they can solve the problems facing the world. It's actually quite amusing at times, such as when they rode their horses (rented) down Scottsdale Road in the pouring rain. I'm not quite sure why my husband insisted his family stand in the rain to see him, but I guess he's proud. And really...very few of them are true cowboys. My cowboy is wearing the yellow slicker. I guess that makes him a City Slicker.
To finish up the month, Chase and Hanifa are going with Chase's best friend, Tommy and his dad, Mark to Idaho. Tommy is getting ready to be confirmed in the catholic church and he wanted to go snowboarding at Schweitzer to celebrate. I'm thinking Chase is liking being Tommy's friend right now. So that just leaves Grayson, Lindsey and I for the weekend. Grayson will be off to spend the weekend with Abby & Ida (Hanifa's aunt and mom). Abby is moving to NYC in April, so each kid is getting a weekend before she leaves. Lindsey and I will go to Mary Poppins on Friday night and then it's a girl's weekend! I'm sure we'll be able to get into a little trouble!
See you next month!
